HOPE Disaster Relief

The Missouri State Teachers Foundation provides relief for schools that fall victims to disasters such as tornadoes, floods and fires. MSTF disaster relief helps with financial support, resource replacement and recovery, volunteers for cleanup and restoration and emotional and moral support.

In response to the recent tornado that leveled Goodman Elementary in Neosho, the MSTF Hope Initiative is giving each MSTA member $100 to provide financial assistance where other options such as insurance may fall short.  If you feel called to help support educators in need after a natural disaster, you can make a tax-deductible donation to MSTF HOPE Initiative by clicking here.

In 2015, HOPE Funds were used to help 13 educators at Augusta Elementary in Augusta, Missouri recover from a fire that had destroyed their library and caused smoke damage throughout their building.  Click here to learn more about this story and how you can help bring HOPE to school communities after a disaster.
