MSTF Mission Statement:
The Missouri State Teachers Foundation’s mission is to support the Missouri State Teachers Association’s purpose, programs and initiatives.
MSTF is a 501(C)3 public foundation formed to help fulfill the mission of the Missouri State Teachers Association by providing resources for teachers in the state of Missouri in the following ways:
- Provide funding for innovative programs initiated by teachers and learning communities
- Serve as a clearinghouse for teachers seeking funding for programs. The foundation will provide technical support, expertise, training and alternative resources for teachers with worthy ideas that fall outside the scope of the foundation’s own funding priorities.
- Foster collaborations with state and national foundations to pilot best practices initiated by MSTA, Missouri teachers and local districts that can serve as models for national education policy
